When you bring your flower bouquet/vase home, remove the packaging and untie any strings if present. Clean the lower leaves to allow the flowers to absorb more water, and trim the stems by 3–5 cm under running water. Thoroughly clean the vase you’ll use and fill it with room-temperature water, ensuring the water level reaches halfway up the stems. Don’t forget to add a packet of flower food to the water.Keep your flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts, and heat sources such as radiators, air conditioners, or stoves. Check the water level daily and replace it, trimming the stems by 0.5–1 cm with each change. Using chlorine-free and rested water can extend the lifespan of your flowers. Remove any wilted or dried flowers to keep the rest fresh for longer.
